Day and Boarding

Taal-Net Private School was established to serve the need for a non-denominational, non-discriminatory, affordable private school in Johannesburg.  The school opened its doors to the few pupils in January 1994. 
 Taal-Net Private School was sold to Taal-net Training Institute in July 2011, and was renamed School to Taal-Net Private School; the school operates as a PTY (Private Limited).  Taal-Net Private School has become known as a school that provides an excellent standard of education in a caring and safe environment.  Religion is not taught as part of the curriculum, but it must be noted that we base our ethos on Christian principles. Taal-Net Private School operates as a day and Boarding school.
The Principal and staff are employed by the members of the PTY (Private Limited). . Only fully qualified teachers are employed.

Taal-Net Private School is a Registered School by the Department of Education Emis Number 700400512, As a Combined School Grade R-12 day and Boarding.

Grades

National Curriculum Statement (NCS) are followed.
Foundation Phase Grade 0 - Grade 3
In the Foundation Phase there are three Learning Programmes which are Literacy, Life Skills and Numeracy.
These are the vehicles through which the eight Learning Areas are integrated.
Intermediate Phase Grade 4 - Grade 6
Language, Literacy, Communication (English / Afrikaans/IsiZulu)
Mathematics
Natural Sciences / Technology
Social Sciences / Economic and Management Science
Life Orientation / Arts & Culture
Senior Phase Grade 7 - Grade 9 (GET)
As above for Intermediate Phase but with the addition of:
Economic & Management Sciences
Technology
Arts & Culture
FET Phase Grade 10 - Grade 12
English; Afrikaans; IsiZulu; Maths/ Maths Literacy and Life Orientation are compulsory.
